In Hammond, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Louisiana, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (985) 542-7853. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is bluebeacon.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 728 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

My experience at Blue Beacon Truck Wash was alright overall. The service was decent and the staff was friendly. The wash was completed in a reasonable amount of time, although there is definitely some room for improvement in terms of attention to detail. Overall, it was an okay experience and I would consider coming back again

$90 truck wash. Was only asked if I want acid treatment as I pulled in then he walked off. Asked me what else I want as I stepped into the office. They clearly missed so much on the rear drive. Sloppy work. Go elsewhere.

Got a trailer wash this visit but usually a truck and trailer wash when coming to Hammond. They do a pretty decent job most of the time. Trailer was really dirty and they put in the extra time to make sure it was right. Very pleased with the service.

Probably the worst blue beacon experience I ever had which I only go to blue beacon. These pictures are after I made them go over things multiple times I’m not used to having to point out and tell him exactly what they missed but during the wash they missed multiple thingshalf the employees was on their phones when they was washing there’ll be one guy washing the other three not doing nothing

Just plain sad. This place used to do a good job but the last two times I’ve stopped here it’s just been sorry. "The best we could do" is not a valid excuse man. Don’t even rinse correct, then try doing the best of someone else! For 90 bucks and no brushing your "best you could do" really sucks! Won’t be stopping here anymore.
